Pixel Weather

no API key4-daylive Make it mine

A four day weather forecast drawn as pixel art, sized to sit in a sidebar or a footer. It reads the visitor's location or a city you pin, needs no API key of your own, and switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit. City, units and the colour palette stay editable in Fugte after the widget is on your page, so changing them later is a form field rather than a code change.

Make it yours

Customize opens this widget in the editor with its own controls already set up, so the wording, colours and content are form fields rather than code. Change what you like without an account. Sign in only when you want to keep it, and it saves as your own copy with its own embed line.

Or embed this one as it is

This line embeds the widget above, the same one running on this page, so it changes whenever this one does. Good for a quick try, not for something you want to control.

<iframe src="https://fugte.reallygreatsite.org/weather-widget?v=20" width="100%" height="605" style="border:0" loading="lazy" title="Pixel Weather"></iframe>

Building and embedding are free. Start from a blank editor instead if you would rather build something else.

QUESTIONS

About the Pixel Weather

Do I need a weather API key?

No. The forecast data is fetched by the widget itself, so there is no key to sign up for, store or rotate.

Can I pin it to one city instead of using the visitor's location?

Yes. City is one of the editable controls, so you can set a fixed city and the widget shows that forecast to everyone.

Will it work on Squarespace, Wix or a Canva site?

Yes. It is a standard iframe, which every one of those platforms accepts in an embed or custom HTML block.
